Hong Kong Chronicles: Part One

A snippet from my visit to Hong Kong March 4th - 8th...

Sunday evening was solid. Jeni and I had dinner at this great Thai place in Soho. What was funny was when the people at the next table, who we thought were Americans, interrupted our conversation. And it turns out they're Canadian. From Toronto. The guy works at Fidelity and - and this is the kicker - knows Compton. Talk about a small world.

After dinner we met up with Suk and had a drink in a Russian vodka ice bar and then went to Insomnia to see this Filipino cover band. This place was jumping on a Sunday nite, and the band called Chill Factor did a bunch of tracks better than original artists. The group was seriously wicked, and I ended-up meeting them afterwards...cool guys. Filipinos have absolutely amazing voices. Sarsely. For those that don't believe me, I made a little video. Watch out for a cameo by the Breaka.

Realize, please, that this is a video and therefore needs sound. If you don't have sound, please wait till you do before viewing. The audio is an integral part of the experience.
